Based on Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the data protection provisions of the State (Data Protection Act, DSG), every individual has the right to privacy and to protection from misuse of their personal data. The operators of this website take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data as confidential and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations as well as this privacy policy.

In cooperation with our hosting providers, we make every effort to protect the databases as much as possible from outside access, data losses, misuse or falsification.

We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. when communicating by email) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

By using this website, you consent to the collection, processing and use of data in accordance with the following description. This website can generally be visited without registration. In the process data, such as pages viewed or name, date and time of the accessed file, is stored on the server for statistical purposes, without this data being directly related to you. Personal data, particularly your name, address or email address is collected on a voluntary basis as far as possible. Without your consent the data will not be disclosed to third parties.

Processing of personal data

Personal data are all personal information relating to an identified or identifiable person. A data subject is a person about whom personal data is processed. Processing includes any handling of personal data, regardless of the means and procedures used, in particular the storage, disclosure, procurement, deletion, storage, alteration, destruction and use of personal data.

We process personal data in accordance with Swiss data protection law. In all other respects, we process personal data - insofar as the EU GDPR is applicable - in accordance with the following legal bases in connection with Art. 6 Para. 1 of the GDPR:

  • lit. a) Processing of personal data with the consent of the data subject.
  • lit. b) Processing of personal data for the fulfilment of a contract with the data subject and for the implementation of corresponding pre-contractual measures.
  • lit. c) Processing of personal data to fulfil a legal obligation to which we are subject under any applicable EU law or under any applicable law of a country in which the GDPR is fully or partially applicable.
  • lit. d) Processing of personal data in order to protect the vital interests of the data subject or of another natural person.
  • lit. f) Processing of personal data in order to protect the legitimate interests of us or third parties, provided that the fundamental freedoms and rights and interests of the person concerned do not prevail. In particular, legitimate interests include our business interest in being able to provide our website, information security, the enforcement of our own legal claims and compliance with Swiss law.

We process personal data for the duration necessary for the purpose or purposes in question. In the case of longer-term storage obligations due to statutory and other obligations to which we are subject, we shall restrict processing accordingly.

Data protection declaration for SSL / TLS encryption

This site uses SSL/TLS encryption for security reasons and for the protection of the transmission of confidential content, such as the queries you send to us as the site operator. You can recognise an encrypted connection in your browser's address line when it changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock icon in your browser line.

If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data which you transfer to us cannot be read by third parties.

Data protection declaration for server log files

The website provider automatically collects and stores information that your browser automatically transmits to us as server log files. These are:

  • browser type and browser version
  • your operating system
  • referrer URL
  • host name of the accessing computer
  • time of the server request

This data cannot be used to identify specific people. This data will not be combined with data from other sources. We reserve the right to retrospectively examine this log data, if there is concrete evidence of illegal activity.

Data protection declaration for contact form

If you send us queries via the contact form, we will collect the data entered on the form, including the contact details you provide, in order to answer your query and for any follow-up questions. We will not share this data without your permission.

Use of Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps. This allows us to display interactive maps directly on the website and enables your convenient use of the map function. When you visit this website, Google is notified that you have accessed the corresponding sub-page of our website. This is done regardless of whether Google provides an account that you are logged in, or if no user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your information will be directly associated with your account. If you do not wish to be associated with your profile on Google, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data as usage profiles and uses them for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or requirements-oriented design of its website. Such evaluation also takes place (even for users who are not logged in) for the purposes of providing customised advertising and to inform other social network users about activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact Google to exercise this right. For more information on the purpose and scope of data collection and processing by Google, you can find further information about your rights and setting options to protect your privacy at: www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.

Data protection declaration for the use of Google Web Fonts

This website uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of fonts. When you open a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly. If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font is used by your computer.

Further information about the handling of user data can be found at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google's privacy policy at: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Use of Matomo

This website uses Matomo (formerly Piwik), an open-source software for the statistical evaluation of visitor access. Google Analytics uses what are known as cookies, text files which are stored on your computer and allow your use of the website to be analysed.

The information that the cookies generate about your use of the website is stored on the provider's server in Germany.

The IP address is anonymised immediately following processing and prior to storage. You can prevent the installation of cookies by changing the settings in your web browser. Please be advised that the adjusted settings may mean that some website functions may no longer be available.

You can then decide here whether an explicit web analytics cookie may be stored on your browser to allow the provider of the website to collect and analyse various statistical data.
